1. General Principle

Donations to Edah Foundation are voluntary and are generally non-refundable, as funds are put to use quickly to support our programs and beneficiaries. We do, however, recognize that mistakes can happen and will consider refund requests in the circumstances below.

2. Eligible Refund Situations

We may issue a refund if:

• Duplicate payment: Your donation was charged more than once in error.
• Incorrect amount: You entered or were charged the wrong amount due to a technical or human error.
• Unauthorized transaction: Your payment method was used without your permission.
• Event or program cancellation: You paid a registration or participation fee for an event or activity that Edah Foundation cancels.

3. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will not normally be provided for:

• Donations that have already been disbursed to programs or beneficiaries.
• Change of mind after a donation has been successfully processed.
• Requests made more than 30 days after the transaction date.
• Pledges or in-kind donations (goods and services already received).

4. How to Request a Refund

Send a written request to Edahfoundation@gmail.com within 30 days of the transaction, including:

1. Your full name and contact details.
2. Date and amount of the donation.
3. Transaction reference or receipt number.
4. The reason for your request.

5. Review and Processing

• We will acknowledge your request within 5 business days.
• Decisions are made within 14 business days of receiving complete information.
• Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method and may take 7–14 business days to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.
• Any bank or payment processing fees may be deducted from the refund where applicable.

6. Recurring Donations

You may cancel a recurring donation at any time by contacting us at Edahfoundation@gmail.com. Cancellation stops future payments but does not automatically refund past ones.

7. Policy Changes

Edah Foundation may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on our website.
